From December 20, the History Museum of Armenia will open a temporary exhibition “Relics of Identity from Lost Gardman, Shirvan and Nakhichevan” dedicated to presenting the Armenian cultural heritage of the lost territories of historical Armenia. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the “Gardman-Shirvan-Nakhichevan” Pan-Armenian Union.

Valuable samples of Armenian cultural heritage created in Gardman, Shirvan and Nakhichevan have been collected and stored in the museums of RA for dozens of years; they have become relics and give an insight into the culture created by the Armenian people over the centuries.

The exhibition presents a group of unique samples documenting the Armenian cultural heritage of Nakhichevan, Gardman and Shirvan, including historical maps, medieval monuments, carpets, jewellery, photographs, and a number of other valuable samples.

The exhibition will run for the coming months.
